About the event

The last 2 years have put incredible demands on our emotional health.  Is it time to pause and recover?

Have you noticed more feelings of anxiety, stress or low mood recently? Have you been worrying more or feeling exhausted by the demands or uncertainty? Have you been reluctant to bother friends, family or your GP?

We are offering free sessions to combat anxiety, stress, exhaustion, worry and depression, that may have crept up over the last 2 years

Our sessions are run by experienced clinical psychologists, using Compassion focused therapy approaches. We will help you manage big emotions, reduce self-criticism, develop practical coping strategies, and create a sense of strength, balance and emotional wellness

The first session is on July 11th 10 - 2pm.  Its longer than ther others as it will introduce the compassion-focused approach - you can learn to understand your emotional responses, how you cope with lifes challenges, and develop a personalised map to show where you might need to bring more balance to your emotional coping.

We'll then move on to weekly session on Mondays 10-11.30am until 22nd August 2022.  They will help you help you nurture more healthy coping and self-care, by strengthing self-compassion.  We hope you'll gain lasting changes in the way you manage emotions, stress and self-worth, feel calmer and more motivated to approach the new normal.

We also have a few 1:1 courses, for anyone who has completed the workshops but may struggle to attend the follow-on group course. Please get in touch to find out more about 1:1 sessions
